Jerry M. Wolf is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief
Executive Officer of Midwest Acoust-A-Fiber, Inc. ("Acoust-A-Fiber").
Mr. Wolf's
vision of using fiber composite technology for the
automotive and other transportation industries began
while he was at NASA working on the Apollo Soft Goods
(space suit) Design

After the program was scaled down, Mr. Wolf and five
other colleagues formed a company called Specialty Composites.
Recognizing the opportunity to further develop fiber-engineered
composite technology, Mr. Wolf left Specialty Composites in 1979
and founded Acoust-A-Fiber.
Through
all the trials and tribulations of those early years the break
finally came for Acoust-A-Fiber when it was awarded a $2 million
contract from Ford Motor Company to produce an engine tunnel insulator
for the Econoline van. Upon receiving the contract from Ford,
the Company moved its operations to a rented building in Ostrander,
Ohio. In 1989, outgrowing the Ostrander facility, the Company
constructed its current headquarters located in Delaware, Ohio.
In 1994 a second facility was opened in Delaware to service a
growing heat shielding market.
In addition the "Wolf Group" of
companies is made up to three other "Sister Companies" who
supply similar products to Off-Road, Appliance, Heavy Duty
Truck, and Open Office Interior markets.
