Jerry M. Wolf is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Midwest Acoust-A-Fiber, Inc. ("Acoust-A-Fiber").

Mr. Wolf's vision of using fiber composite technology for the automotive and other transportation industries began while he was at NASA working on the Apollo Soft Goods (space suit) Design

Jerry M. Wolf, President

After the program was scaled down, Mr. Wolf and five other colleagues formed a company called Specialty Composites. Recognizing the opportunity to further develop fiber-engineered composite technology, Mr. Wolf left Specialty Composites in 1979 and founded Acoust-A-Fiber.

Through all the trials and tribulations of those early years the break finally came for Acoust-A-Fiber when it was awarded a $2 million contract from Ford Motor Company to produce an engine tunnel insulator for the Econoline van. Upon receiving the contract from Ford, the Company moved its operations to a rented building in Ostrander, Ohio. In 1989, outgrowing the Ostrander facility, the Company constructed its current headquarters located in Delaware, Ohio. In 1994 a second facility was opened in Delaware to service a growing heat shielding market.

In addition the "Wolf Group" of companies is made up to three other "Sister Companies" who supply similar products to Off-Road, Appliance, Heavy Duty Truck, and Open Office Interior markets.

Today, Acoust-A-Fiber, an ESOP and TS 16949 Certified Company, is a leading manufacturer of fiber engineered composites, including sound and heat shields for the automotive industry. Acoust-A-Fiber is a tier one supplier to General Motors and DaimlerChrysler and a tier two supplier to Ford Motor Company, and several new domestics.
