Those awards include Mr. Wolf being named "Central Ohio’s Entrepreneur of the Year" in the Manufacturing/High Technology category; Ernst & Young’s "Pace Award" for product innovation; Business First’s "Fast Fifty" award recognizing independent, privately held companies for their growth and performance; Delaware County’s Chamber of Commerce "Business of the Year" award for consistently contributing to the community, chamber projects, and for personal integrity and fair business practice; and the "1998 Governor’s Workforce Excellence" award for encouraging work based training to equip associates with the skills necessary to compete in a global market.  In 2006 Outstanding Business Partner Award from the Delaware County Commissioners and The Delaware Workforce Investment Board in recognition of our contribution to the Delaware County workforce & community.

                                          

Today, Acoust-A-Fiber, an ESOP and TS 16949 Certified Company, is a leading manufacturer of fiber engineered composites, including sound and heat shields for the automotive industry. Acoust-A-Fiber is a tier one supplier to General Motors and DaimlerChrysler and a tier two supplier to Ford Motor Company and new domestics. There are two plants, with over 150 employees.
